Jerry L. Cypert (Supervising Instructor)- a fifth (5th) degree Black Belt certified by USA Judo – the certification body for the United States Olympic Committee (USOC). Jerry began Judo in high school where Judo was a letter sport. Jerry is an International Gold Level Coach, and Vision Impaired Coach. Jerry has coached at the USJF Junior National Championships, AM-CAN International Judo Challenge, National Scholastics Championships, Junior Olympics International Championships, and the US Open. Jerry is a National level Referee wtih IPSI Certification, and has refereed throughout the US.
Jerry is a 1974 Graduate of UW - Oshkosh, where he earned his bachelor degree majoring in Political Science and minoring in Speech, 1976 Graudate of UW - Milwaukee, where he earned his Masters degree in Social Work (MSW). He also is certified by the Academy of Social Workers (ASW).
Darlene S. Cypert (Head Instructor)-a Third (3rd) degree Black Belt certified by USA Judo. Darlene started Judo in 2000. Darlene is a 2007 Graduate of Concordia University - Mequon, where she earned her Bachelor degree in Management of Criminal Justice, and is a retired Correctional Sergeant for the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. Darlene is the business manager of Hogosha Judo LLC and the lead coach for: local, state and regional tournaments. She is a National Level Coach.
Mike Cypert (Associate Instructor) - a Third (3rd) degree Black Belt certified by USA Judo. Mike is a National Level Coach and Regional Referee.
Mike, a national competitor, has competed at the following higher level events: USJF Junior National Championships, AM-CAN International Judo Challenge, National Scholastics Championships, Junior Olympics International Championships, and the US Open.
Mike (with his brother Josh) captured a Bronze at the USJF Junior National Kata Championships and the medal was presented by Keiko Fukuda Sensei.
Mike is a 2015 Graduate of UW – Madison, where he earned his Bachelor Degree (double major) in East Asian Studies, Chinese and Criminal Justice. Mike is a Law Enforcement Officer.

Josh is a 2017 Graduate of UW - Whitewater, where he earned his bachelor degree in Criminal Justice. Josh is a veteran of the United States Army. He is currently in Law Enforcement. Josh is also the former Judo instructor at Elkhorn Flying Dragons in Elkhorn, WI.
